People ask how I knew it would work. I didn't. We were three months from running out of money. I remember sitting in the car outside the office, unable to make myself walk back in. Then my co-founder called: the client had signed. I didn't celebrate. I sat there in the quiet and let it land.

Yeah so, um, the thing people always ask me is, like, how did you know it was going to work. And honestly? I didn't. I mean — we were, what, three months from running out of money, and I remember, um, sitting in the car outside the office, and I just, I couldn't go back in for a bit. And my co-founder calls and says the, the client signed. And I think I just sat there. I didn't even, you know, I didn't celebrate or anything. I just sat there.
