People ask how I knew it would work. I didn't. We were three months from running out of money. I remember sitting in the car outside the office, unable to make myself walk back in. Then my co-founder called: the client had signed. I didn't celebrate. I sat there in the quiet and let it land.
Same story, same voice. One of them took him an evening in a car park, the other took me a morning.
